Experience a unique and unforgettable adventure, that starts in the majestic Chilean Andean Mountains of the Central Region, hiking to the massive Mount Plomo, and then moving on towards the massive Argentinian Mountains, on a one-of-a-kind traverse. Supported by the best logistics, and coordination, a great acclimatisation for your physical, and mental preparation, where you and your partners will be able to prepare, and at the same time, enjoy the pristine nature during this breathtaking expedition.

  • We offer this expedition as a private service, and also, on fixed dates (join a small group of maximum 6 to 8 people / optional).
  • The private itinerary is adapted to your specific travel dates (between end of October to end of March).
  • This program can be tailored (private option only), meaning if you wish to change, or add some other place of interest, or even extra days to the itinerary, we will be pleased to adapt it to your specific requirements.
  • The dates for private trips are requested by the participants. If required, the itinerary can be adapted to the client's needs and priorities.
  • Private and comfortable 4WD vehicles, vans or mini-buses, with professional drivers, air condition, heating, first aid kit, satellite phone & portable oxygen.
  • Professional English, German, French, Portuguese, Italian or Spanish speaking mountain guides, with deep zone knowledge, and First Aid License (WFR or WAFA).
  • Transfers from and to the airport in Santiago de Chile.
  • Transfers from Santiago de Chile to Mendoza, and back.
  • Professional outdoor logistics & coordination.
  • Permits for climbing the Aconcagua, and all entrance fees to all places of interest, national parks, & natural reserves.
  • Camping in diverse vegetation levels.
  • Full logistic camps + basic gear that includes: Dome Tent (Dinning Tent), 4-season mountain pro-tents, illumination for dome tent, tables, chairs, and other camp equipment, and high camp equipment (personal cooking gear per team).

Note: Sleeping bags, mats, trekking poles, harness, crampons, head lamps, and others can be hired from us for your expedition.

  • Personal equipment (We offer shared equipment, such as tents, camp gear, and can also add items, such as trekking poles, helmets as well as many others. Please review the recommended list of equipment, and conditions for each program).
  • Services not mentioned in your program.
  • First, second and third layer: Warm wear/Technical (for temperatures under -25° C). Down & Gore-Tex Jacket & Gore-Tex Pants are required.
  • Head lamp.
  • Light wear for the day (first, and second layer / for trekking at lower areas, as well as warmer days).
  • Trekking poles.
  • 75 to 100 lit. mountain backpack (75 to 80 lit. recommended + large dry-bag for extra gear).
  • Comfortable trekking shoes, sport shoes & trekking sandals, plastic/double high mountain boots (We highly recommend including high mountain technical boots as well), crampons.
  • Technical gloves, mittens (for under -20º C), and mountain gloves.
  • Sun protection: Sunglasses, glacier sunglasses or goggles, hat or cap, wool or similar hat, buff or similar, sunblock factor 30 or 50, moisturising cream, lip balm.
  • Swimming suit and towel.
