Once we arrive, we will enjoy a relaxing bath in the natural pools with healing water, ranging between 30º and 35º Celsius. The infrastructure offers dressing rooms, picnic areas, bathrooms, and easy access to the pools. We shall return to San Pedro de Atacama at approximately 19:00 hrs.

In the morning (8:00 am), we will drive from San Pedro de Atacama to the Hierbas Buenas Site, where three mountain chains meet. Here, we will find ancient petroglyphs from different pre-Columbian indigenous cultures that traveled from the Andean Mountain Range to the Pacific coast, with large llama caravans carrying various products from each vegetation level.

From here, we will continue on Mountain Bike to the beautiful Rainbow Valley (approximately 2 hours, beginner to intermediate level). Its name comes from the multi-colored, diverse tectonic layers exposed after centuries of earthquakes, floods, and wind. We will cycle through beautiful valleys filled with llama herds, set in a unique desert landscape.

We shall return to San Pedro de Atacama by midday.

Includes: Mineral Water & Cocktail.

In the afternoon (13:30 hrs), we will head to the famous Death Valley, where we will start a soft trekking (2 to 3 hours) along the Salt Mountain Chain. Along the way, we will admire the desert’s diverse colors, tectonic plates, and millennia-old dunes. Further on, we will meet our vehicle to drive toward the stunning Moon Valley, where we will be awestruck by its unusual moon-like landscape and beautiful geographic formations.

Later, we will continue to the Quebrada de Cari (Cari Creek) to see the various salt formations and crystals of the Cordillera de la Sal (Salt Mountain Range). This circuit ends with an unforgettable sunset and a cocktail, perfectly timed when the desert is transformed by magical colors. We shall return to San Pedro de Atacama at approximately 20:30 hrs.

Includes: Mineral Water, Snacks & Cocktail at Sunset.

After breakfast (8:00 am), we will drive south to the beautiful Andean village of Toconao, located between majestic mountain chains. Known for its warm and friendly inhabitants, textiles, and unique desert cultivation methods, we will begin our trekking (approximately 2 hours) through the magnificent Nacimiento Canyon and its unique microclimate.

We will continue our journey, driving up the international road toward the Sico Pass (Argentina), gradually climbing into the High Plateau. Along the way, we will pass through the small farming village of Socaire before reaching the impressive High Plateau Lagoons, Miscanti and Miñiques, at 4,350 meters above sea level. Surrounded by volcanoes and fantastic panoramic views, we will marvel at the biodiversity of the area and the different altitude levels we’ve passed through.

Next, we will head to the extraordinary Piedras Rojas site (Talar Salt Flat) to enjoy a breathtaking view from a unique vantage point. After a delicious lunch, we will drive to the impressive Atacama Salt Flat, the third-largest in the world, where three species of flamingos and other birds feed and find refuge in this unique and isolated ecosystem.

We shall return to San Pedro in the afternoon (18:30 hrs).
